The inaugural ICC Emerging Nations Trophy took place in Banghol of Thailand and had eight emerging cricketing nations competing in a round-robin style format. The goal of this International Cricket Council (ICC) Emerging Nations Trophy 2025 is to showcase emerging women’s cricketing nationals on a global level and to strengthen the international cricketing ecosystem.

Tournament Format
Eight teams will compete in this tournament using the round-robin format. After every team has played every other team once, the team at the top of the standings after the last round played on 30 November 2025 will be recognised as the ICC Emerging Nations Trophy Champions.
This format allows each team to earn respect based on their consistent play, depth and ability to adapt quickly from match to match.
Host Country and Venues
All matches for the ICC Emerging Nations Trophy 2025 will be held in Banghol, Thailand. We will use two main facilities:
- Terdthai Cricket Ground. 2. Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) Ground.
Thailand is an incredibly beautiful and supportive location and its facilities are extremely well-suited for hosting such an important event as the ICC Emerging Nations Trophy in 2025!
